Task Dependencies Tab
 
This tab contains two sections: Predecessors and Successors. The same data entry techniques are used in both sections.
 
One task can contain many predecessors and successors - although they more usually contain only one of each at most - and they can be tasks in the current schedule or in another schedule.

PREDECESSORS AND SUCCESSORS TABLES

1. PREDECESSORS AND SUCCESSORS TABLES
 
  • Project Field - Select a schedule. This list is filtered by the Project field. The default is the current schedule.
  • Schedule Field - Select a schedule. This list is filtered by the Project field. The default is the current schedule.
  • Task Field - Select a task. This list is filtered by the Schedule field.
  • Dependency Type Field - A system list. The choices are:
Finish-To-Start(FS) (the default)
Finish-To-Finish(FF)
Start-To-Finish(SF)
Start-To-Start(SS)
  • Lag Field - Enter the number of days of lag Lag may be a positive or negative number. Negative lag is sometimes called "lead". The default is "0".
