Import dialogs are used to import PMWeb records from spreadsheet files. The specifics vary slightly between record types but the general outline for using the dialog is:

In the
Manager Page for the record type, click the Import button -
Click the Folder icon button in the center of the dialog, then browse to and select the spreadsheet you want to import

The spreadsheet appears in the Data File field (this may take a moment)

Click the Upload icon button in the center of the dialog

In the table, for each PMWeb field you want import, match it to a spreadsheet column using the dropdown list in the Import File Field.

Click the Import button in the dialog toolbar to complete the import process
Note that if the field names in the spreadsheet exactly match the field names in your database, PMWeb will automatically match them when the spreadsheet is uploaded, saving you time and effort.
