If you selected the "Mobile/Browse" option, click the Browse button to select a barcode image stored on your device or, if you are using a mobile device, to take a photo of the barcode.
If you selected the "Scan/Type" option, place the mouse cursor in the text field that appears here and use a barcode scanning device to read the barcode code number into the text field or type the barcode code number in yourself.
Before you can use barcode search you must perform a setup task here. Click this link to open the Barcode Settings Dialog:
Because Items each have two barcode fields - "PMWeb Barcode" and "Mfr's Barcode" - you must specify which field you are searching using the Barcode Field. Next, select a Barcode Format. Click the OK button to save your selections and close the dialog. Your settings will be remembered until you change them.
