Some dialogs, when opened on devices with small screens, reformat themselves to keep all of their functions available. Here, for example, is a screenshot of the Items dialog, as it appears on a desktop PC. You drag items from the tree on the left and drop them on the table on the right. Or, check the box next to one or more items in the tree and then click the floating arrow button to copy them to the table. Above the table are two columns of fields that act as defaults for the selected items:
On devices with narrower screens, the two columns of default fields automatically realign into one column, to save space:
On very small devices, the tree automatically becomes an overlay. In this mode, select one or more items in the tree and then click the Arrow button in the toolbar to copy those items to the table.
Toolbar buttons open the overlays for, in this example, the items tree, the barcode search, and the default fields.
