The Estimating Section fields are considered when the item is used in estimating in records such as Initiatives, Estimates, and Work Orders. The Purchasing Section fields are considered when the item is used in purchasing records such as Procurement and Commitments. The Component Section fields act as defaults when the item is added as a component. See Components Tab for more information.
Estimating UOM Field
The default unit of measure when the item is used in an estimate. UOM Field
Normally, the Cost is used as the default when the item is used in an estimate. If this box is checked, the Price field is used as the default instead.
If this box is checked, when the item is used in an estimate the Submittal field is checked by default. See Estimate Details Tab Table for more information about the "Sbtl" field.
