Use this tab to set folder permissions for user groups and individual users.
 
Note: The settings in this tab supercede the ones assigned to the Document Manager record type in the Portfolio/Setup/Security/Define Groups Tab.

Role Permissions Table

3. Role Permissions Table
All of the user groups defined in the Portfolio/Setup/Security/Define Groups Tab appear in this table. For each group select options:
  • Full Control - Checks all of the boxes on the line. The group has all rights to the folder.
  • View - Users in the group can view the folder and view and download its files but cannot edit the folder definition or add or delete files.
  • Manage Folders - Users in the group can add, move, redefine, and delete folders in the Document Manager tree
  • Upload Files - Users in the group can add files to the folder by dragging or copying from another folder or by uploading from their device
  • Delete Files - Users in the group can delete files from the folder
  • Edit Files - Users in the group can edit data on within each file in the folder
  • Edit Permissions - Users in the group can edit settings on this tab for the folder

User Permissions Table

4. User Permissions Table
This table acts as an extension or modification for specific users of the rights granted to their group in the table above.

Advanced Security Settings

If checked, all of the permissions configured on this tab are also used in all folders beneath this one on its branch of the Document Manager tree
