The control panel is the main menu of PMWeb. Its buttons allow you to navigate to various features of the platform. The control panel can be viewed in an expanded state (called a drawer) or collapsed into a more compact view (a rail). The buttons that appear on the control panel vary, depending on which features are licensed and which features the user has security access to. For very small screens (a phone in portrait mode, for example) the control panel becomes a bottom drawer that can be viewed by clicking the expand button at the bottom of the screen.
This section of the control panel features buttons for each PMWeb module you have access to. Clicking a button opens a flyout menu in overlay mode:
Clicking a menu item automatically closes the overlay menu and navigates to the selected record type.
When the screen size is very small, the control panel is reconfigured as a bottom drawer and is opened by clicking the up arrow button:
Click the up arrow button to open the Control Panel in overlay mode from the bottom of the screen. Click the down arrow button to close it without selecting a menu button.:
If you click one of the module buttons, the associated menu opens in full screen mode:
Clicking a menu item automatically closes the menu and navigates to the associated record type.
Note that in this screen mode the Breadcrumbs Bar and Exit button have also migrated to the bottom bar, to keep them available at all times.
