Work Orders allow you to enter, track, dispatch, and apply costs to any work related to your assets. Work orders can be:

On Demand - One time only work

Preventive - Scheduled to recur at set calendar intervals (
Preventive Tab)

Predictive - Generated based on the expected life-cycles of the linked assets (
Components Tab)
Work orders can also include condition assessments that feed back to the assets being inspected. (
Serviced Tab)

Record # Field - Required. An alphanumeric ID for the record.

Estimated Hours Fields - Read only. The sum of Quantity from the Work Orders Estimate Tab with a Resource Type of "Labor" and "Equipment".

Dispatched Hours Fields - Read only. The sum of Dispatched Hours from the Work Orders Resources Tab with a Resource Type of "Labor" and "Equipment". Click the field label to navigate to the Dispatch Board.

Actual Hours Fields - Read only. The sum of Actual Hours from the Work Orders Resources Tab with a Resource Type of "Labor" and "Equipment".

Request ID Field - Read only. If the work order was generated from a Work Requests record it appears here. Click the field label to navigate to the Work Request.

Maintenance Contract Field - If the work order was generated from a Maintenance Contracts record it appears here. You can also use this field to note that a work order is linked to a Maintenance Contract by selecting it from the dropdown list.

Reported, Estimated Start, and Finish Fields - Date Field

Approximate Duration Field - Enter an approximate duration of the work order in days

Contact Name Field - Type a name in the field or click the button to open the Contact Browser Dialog

Phone (Day), Cell, and Phone (Night) Fields - Phone Field
