The fields in this tab also appear in the Schedules Task Fields list and in the Task Details dialog. Entering data in this tab is the same as entering it those places.
TASK TOOLBAR
Add Task Button - Adds an empty task which will, if you save it, appear at the end of the task list in the Gantt chart control.
Save Task Button - Click to save edits to the task. This has the same effect as click the Save Task button in the Gantt Chart Toolbar.
Delete Task Button - Deletes the task that is currently displayed in the Details tab.
Select Task Field - Use this drop down list to load a task in the Details tab. This has the same effect as clicking the View Details link in the Gantt chart.
Code Field - A text field
Task Field - The name of the task
Summary Field - A notational field used to group one or more tasks by a summary designation. To use this field: type an entry in this field and save the Gantt chart. The entry is saved to a list. You can then select this entry on other lines in the schedule.
Constraint Field - Constraints limit the calculation possibilities for a task. (Use caution when assigning constraints. Too many constraints can lead to unexpected calculation results and logic conflicts.) The choices are:
None (the default)
Finish No Later Than
Must Finish On
Must Start On
Start No Earlier Than
Constraint Date Field - The date associated with one of the four constraint types. Default is empty.
% Complete Field - Zero to 100. Default is "0". This represents the physical progress of the task's work.

Recap Section - This read-only section shows data from the beginning and end of the critical path
Attachments Link - The number of attachments linked to this task line appears within the parentheses. Click the link to open the View Attachments Dialog.
