Document Manager on Mobile Devices

 
To make using Document Manager on mobile devices easier to use, PMWeb automatically adjusts its interface for you. This section describes those adjustments.

BACK BUTTON

Tapping this button navigates up one folder level in the folder tree.

MOBILE BREADCRUMBS

2. MOBILE BREADCRUMBS
In the desktop view of Document Manager, clicking each segment of the breadcrumbs navigates to a different folder. In mobile view, tapping the breadcrumbs opens a dropdown menu.
 
 
The top half of the menu shows all of the folders you have access to above the current one. Click any of these items to navigate up the folder tree. The bottom half of the menu contains Manager Page, Recent Records, and Bookmarks links.

Tapping this button opens a flyout menu.
 
 
The menu contains these options:
  • Search - Opens the Advanced Search dialog
  • Add - Opens a dropdown menu from which you can choose to add a folder or file
  • Latest Versions - Toggles to show only the latest version of each file or all versions
  • View Details - Select a folder or file and then tap this option to open the Details Pane as a dialog
  • List View / Card View - Toggles between the two views
  • Folder Settings - Opens the Edit Folder Dialog

FOLDER TREE HANDLE

4. FOLDER TREE HANDLE
 
In mobile view, the folder tree handle is slightly over-sized to make it easier to see and use. Tap the handle to open and close the folder tree.
 
 
On mobile devices, to prevent the folder tree pane from blocking the Document Manager window, the pane opens to 3/4 of the screen width.
