Assemblies Dialog

 
This dialog is used to calculate quantities for all of the items in Assemblies and then add them to a record with a single click. To use the dialog:

Quantity Field

2. Quantity Field
This displays the UOM of the assembly as a read only field and allows you to type in a quantity multiplier for the entire assembly. The default (and most commonly used value) is "1".

Phase Field

Phase Field. Items that do not have a default phase will contain the one selected here when copied into the record. See Items for defining item defaults.

Location Field

Location (Project) Field. Items that do not have a default location will contain the one selected here when copied into the record. See Items for defining item defaults.

Cost Code Field

Cost Code Field. Items that do not have a default cost code will contain the one selected here when copied into the record. See Items for defining item defaults.

Company Field. Items that do not have a default company will contain the one selected here when copied into the record. See Items for defining item defaults.

Period Field. Items copied into the record will contain the period selected here.

Variables Table

This table will contain the list of run time variables that are required by the assembly. See Assemblies for information about defining variables. Type a number in each Quantity field.

Calculate Button

Click this button to calculate the quantities and costs for the items in the assembly.

Items Table

This read only table is updated when you click the Calculate button and shows each item in the assembly and its calculated default cost.

Click this button to close the dialog without saving additional data to the record.

Image Section

This section displays the images attached to the assembly (see Assemblies) that have "Display" checked.
