Type (Data Type) Field

 
The selection here determines the data type for a user defined field. This is a system list. The options may include:
 
  • Integer - A whole number field
  • Double - A number field with two decimal places
  • Currency - A number field with a currency symbol
  • Date - Date Field
  • Boolean - A checkbox field
  • List - If you select "List", also select a specific system or user defined list.
  • Text - An alphanumeric field
  • Memo - Notes (Memo) Field
