Measurements Tab

This tab allows you to use drawing tools to take linear and area measurements of your image file.

To use the tab:

Set the scale
Use a drawing tool to take another measurement
Click the Save button in the header toolbar
Take the next measurement
Click the Save button in the header toolbar

Click the Edit button to enter Scale mode:

To set the scale:

Click and drag to draw a red line on the drawing area that is a known distance in the image
Type a number in the Distance on the ground field
Select a Length UOM
Select an Area UOM
Click the Save button to save the scale and exit Scale mode

To use the drawing area:

Draw a line or shape on the image.
If the "Add Text" box is checked in the Measurements toolbar, a text field appears when the drawing action takes place. Type a label for the measurement in the text field
Click the Save button in the header toolbar.

Saved measurements appear here. Click the Delete button to delete measurements from the table.
