Use this page to define inventory locations, add stock, and move it. Inventory can be pulled and charged to projects in the
Work Orders Material Costs Tab.

Location ID Field - Required. An alphanumeric ID for the record.

Name Field - A name for the record

Linked To Field - Required. Read only. Click the helper button to open the Link asset dialog. Select an asset to link to. Inventory locations can be linked to a Location, Building, Floor, Space, or Equipment record.

Capacity Field - Enter a capacity figure for the inventory location.

Capacity UOM Field - UOM Field. Select a unit of measure for the figure in the Capacity field.

Sub-locations Section - Use this table to create sub-locations within the inventory location. Stock can be added to sub-locations and moved between them.

Stock # Field - Read only.

Sub-Location Field - Select a sub-location from the dropdown list. Values are defined in the table in the header

Item Field - Required. The ID of the item linked to the stock. Items.

Stocked Field - The total quantity or amount of the item being stocked. This field becomes read only after the line is saved.

Used Field - Read only. The quantity or amount marked as "Used" in the Stock Move Dialog plus the quantity or amount pulled from inventory using the Pick Inventory Button.

Unusable Field - Read only. The quantity or amount marked as "Unusable" in the Stock Move Dialog .

Moved Field - Read only. The quantity or amount marked as "Moved" in the Stock Move Dialog .

On Hand Field - Read only. Calculated as Stocked minus Used minus Unusable minus Moved.

Unit Cost Field - A currency field

Ext. Cost Field - Read only. Calculated as On Hand times Unit Cost.

Double-clicking a line in the table opens the Stock Move History dialog, a read only view of past moves.
