PMWeb budgets are spending benchmarks for projects. Budgets can be created by entering the data directly in the Budgets page, by pasting from an Excel spreadsheet, or by generating them from detailed estimates in the PMWeb Planningmodule. Budget cash flow can be calculated using a direct projection method or by linking budget lines to a schedule in the PMWeb Scheduling module. Options in Portfolio/Setup/Settings let you determine whether or not the budget can be exceeded as the project develops.
Note that there can only be one "Approved" Budget record per project and a cost code can only appear once within each Budget record.
